I've come to realize...I'm human.
Humans have emotions and feelings. I was never one to cry, but recently I've been basically fucked up emotionally. Today I was crying for like 10 mins out of nowhere; totally not me. Maybe its my grandma, maybe its because I miss my mom, maybe its my grades, maybe its my relationship with people, maybe its my boyfriend..., but whatever it is, if not all, is messing with me. I need time alone to assess myself. I wanna share it someone, but I don't think they would understand me to the fullest, so I'll just blog it... Is it me or am I giving out emo posts...yikes!
Spare my feelings...through all these trials and tribulations.
Idk guys I'm really feeling this guy. But I'm skeptical. I always fall for the ones who's style/character i hate the most. Dudes 18, working[that's good], not that tall[hate average height guys], from harlem[WOW, but he hates harlem niggas]...LOL Haitian... but regardless, he's growing on me, bout to go out with him... ;D

On a heavier note, I wish I could have gone to Belize with my mom to go bury my grandmother, but my passport is expired ⌐_⌐. In a sense, I feel that it was a good thing for my grandma to pass. She couldn't walk ever since I seen her 5 years ago. And it hurt me to see her lying in her bed all day cuz she couldn't walk. Thinking about it is making me tear. God bless Jennifer Miranda, my mother. She took time off about twice a year to go take care of my grandmother. Her sister too, Nelsia Sebastian. Out of the 4 other sisters my mother has, only her and my aunt took the time out to take care of my grandmother. How dare they not care about their own mother! Like on some real shit, how the fuck can you not take the time out to visit your sick mother, your dying mother, the lady that gave you life? Aside all the bullshit. I know for a fact, aside all the problems that could occur during my life with my mother, my sister and I would do anything for her.

It makes it damn side worse to know that I will never ever see my grandmother again; only at her grave. I miss Belize, my family, my house near the beach, going swimming everyday, the carefree attitude there, damn I needa visit. I actually wanna go to college there, but its in the City, and I don't think I know anyone in the city.
I always have a feeling of not belonging. Everytime I used to go see my family, I felt left out. Everyone speaking creole and ish and me with my American accent, they make fun of me, and tease me for not eating our national dish. SORRY! shit tastes nasty, got fish in it, I hate cooked fish. But now I think is the right time to go; I'm 16, mad parties going on, legal drinking age is 18 there....I'm set.
Now that my grandma is gone, I feel that I don't have a place there anymore.
RIP Grandma Ruth.
i love you.

Call me a haterrrr idc. Most Harlem people annoy me. They come all arrogant and cocky for no reason. And if you live in NYC you can tell a harlem nigga apart from most.
SYMPTOMS OF HARLEMITIS
1. American Eagle or Aeropostale shirts.
2. Marmots or merm coats. Oh and marmot hiking boots. WTF are you hiking in NYC??
3. TRUE RELIGION, Antiks, Seven, Levis and American Eagle STRAIGHT LEG or SKINNY Jeans.
4. ACG nike boots, Nike shocks, and Colorful footwear.
5. Colorful fitteds worn half way across the head.
6. Cargo pants, of course!
7. Flashy...with everything.
8. Get Light around me, get shot.
LOL don't get me wrong though, I like some harlem people. So if I know you, and you know me, and you're from harlem. ily!
Hello blog world! I've come to blog about my love for Pharrell Williams and others...if anyone cares.
Origins:I know Pharrell had hits before 2003, but that was when Frontin' came out. Now I remember watching MTV with my sister. We just came home from school, and I was in the 6th grade. BOOM! The music hit my ears, the visual hit my eyes; Who was this beautiful man with a beatiful voice, singing over this synthesized beat of which my ears never heard before?? Good God, I was taken in by catchy ass lyrics..."I was just frontin', you know I want you babe"... As of then, he was just a new artist; I didn't know he was growing on me just yet.
About 3 years ago:The main music genre I listened to was hip-hop, rap, r&b, main negro music haha. Well, I attempted to stay posted on songs that Pharrell sang, or was featured in, but I was lazy. Then I graduate middle school, go into high school...I'm a freshman, blah, everyone hates freshmen...Then I get into sophomore year.
Present:I would prefer to call it the high school year of self realization. Of course, I realize that I've been missing out on Pharrell. What really brought me back to him was his sexyness; so I thought I would look into his music as well. BANG! In My Mind was sweeeeeet, I sweared to stay on that, then I was like, wait, Pharrell has a band, right... I started to look into N*E*R*D. EVEN BETTER! Not necessarily hip-hop, but more like funk rap or funk rock, I didn't care, shit was hot!
During the summer I decided to stop listening to rap. Specifically to the songs rapping about money, bitches, cars, "the struggle"...so on and so forth. I still listen to rap, but from rappers like Lupe, Pharrell, Kanye, and Common; basically the ones that rap or sing about different secular dramas. Lupe is real!! As of now my favorite song is "And he gets the girl" by him. I know I may be late on that, but that ish is beautiful. Its well put together, and it doesn't hurt that its over the "Maybe" beat from N*E*R*D. The sound that Pharrell and Kanye, and others I listen to emit; like their lyrics and beats rape my ears, and make them their bitch. That's how good they sound to me! I hate anyone who inturupts me when listening to MY "music gods". Fuck off till the song is done. That's my word.
Few favorite songs are:Maybe, Provider, Baby[both versions], Yeah You**, Big White Spaceship, Frontin', Run to the Sun**, The Way She Dances**, Breakout, Fly or Die, Jump**, roughly all of N*E*R*D's albums and Pharrell songs. Right now, my music library is reading 44 N*E*R*D songs, and 88 songs with Pharrell in it, that's 132. I'm trying to hit 150 by Feb. and 200 by end of 09, I hope...I rest my case.
